Who said all problems have difficult solutions?

REMAND prisoner Jason Turner carried out a daring yet cunningly simple escape by walking out of jail with a group of visitors.

Turner, who was being held at Norwich Prison while awaiting trial for theft, removed his identification bib and left at the end of visiting hours on wednesday afternoon.

Chris Savage, who was among the visitors, said the 38-year-old escapee asked for a ride in his car. He added: 'He said: "Here, mate, are you driving? I've just escaped from in there and I need a lift." I thought he was a crackpot so I refused'.

Police searching for Turner last night said he was not dangerous.
