ANAMBRA STATE UNION "ASU-CHINA" PRESS RELEASE ON THE ANAMBRA POLITICAL SAGA .

Umuibe, It sickens the mind to witness the wanton rape and decimation of our dear State by one godson and godfather in the name of uncivilized politics.

Count in any nation on earth where there is Nigerian presence and shock your self with the reality that Umuigbo is in the majority; doing jobs that are too menial, derogatory and demeaning. Yet Umuigbo do all these just to make provision for the things we lack from our government back home.
It is surprising that after such a great task of working so hard to make an impact in Alaigbo, that our prostituting politicians will rubbish the whole thing with just a snap of the finger.

Anambra State today paints a prevailing picture of dark age and of modern day slavery though shrouded in democracy that is nowhere to be found.The most surprising thing about this whole mess is that our people are the architect of it all.
Some of us might argue that Abuja sponsored the whole charade, but Umuigbo carried it out to the letter. Yet it is not as if the executors have another homeland that will replace the present for them.

How can we beat our chests and say that we have done a thing for this generation? What shall we leave behind as legacy for our children? Are we going to tell them that an individual who was touted to have stage-managed the [s]election in Anambra state, was too powerful for the entire Umu Anambra ?
Will we tell them that one of his stooges -who stood in for him as the Governor of our dear state (as alleged) collaborated with him to rape us?

We ASU-CHINA condemn in strongest terms the charade called Abuja Peace because it is clear that it is the same Evil that Anambra state dreaded for so long, that has being re-modified and shoved down our throats.
Dr. Ngige should be tolerated as the sitting Governor pending tribunal ruling in favor or against him. But he ought not sit and discuss on how to govern Anambra state with a businessman that knows little or nothing about governance.
The interest of Chris Ubah is only to get as much as he wants from the poor treasury of our dear state. And for Ngige to agree to his terms -just because he wants to make efforts at 'reconciliation', is nothing short of sabotage to Ndi Anambra both at home and in diaspora.

We call for the arrest and prosecution of Chris Ubah for the carnage he caused in our dear state.
We call for Dr. Ngige to honorably resign if he cannot do without compromising the state treasury.
We call on Ndi Anambra to rekindle the spirit of CHASING AWAY rogues and thieves from our state as it was in the old days of BOYS OYEE .
Today it's Anambra state, tomorrow it could be another Igbo state.
It is high time we chased these cankerworms out from Alaigbo.
Ndi Anambra, It is high time we woke up and challenged these undesirable elements. Maybe we can make life uncomfortable for them when ever they visit us in our exiled abodes, just for starters.
If we continue to roll out the red carpet for them, then we are collaborators and are just as much to blame.
This cleansing must start with Ndi Igbo in Diaspora.

The Kingdom of Anambra state suffers violence and we must retake our State back. Either by violence or dialogue.
