Unbanning at Egbeomo, what Big-K doesn't know!Big-K,
Like Nwokeoma, I'll indulge you since it's obvious you're still suffering from acute emptyness and disillusionment occasioned by the wearing off of your Atlanta after-glow!
Listen to this:I like this place because it is better than the other place. It is more transparent.

Big-K, at Egbeomo, folks who really get banned will hire a "high profile" propagandist who will start by acting as a conduit and the banished will VOW to be of "Oduduwa" behaviour. Let's take the May unbanning of Aluko as a case study:
This is vintage Laolu, the arch propagandist!
At this point in time, Alexie is doing fairly well...and then.....
>>Hi Prof Aluko asked that I paste this reponse to the thread.
"Bolaji Aluko Response to Alexie Njoku over the thread "Lets Talk about
Awolowo" <<

Even the guy Big Steve was narrating freely from memory with a fairly reasonable effect and this drew the irk of bababoyz:
>>It seems to me that you are trying to redeem yourself with those who have been accusing you of not being supportive to Biafra cause, and one good way to do that is your new Yoruba bashing like the one going on in BiafraNigeria forum.
I have always read your comments with objectivity, but all that you have written on this subject matter, to me could not hold water. We need to continue to be objective in our write-ups irrespective of whose ox is being gored, and our country will only be good for it.<<
~ bababoyz posted May 18, 2001 10:21 AM
And Laolu was "forced" to act as a conduit once more:>>Again, Prof Aluko:
"Why Awo is So Maligned - A view of Bolaji Aluko
I have continued to monitor the discussion on this thread of "Lets Talk
About Awolowo", and I thought I would make one more intervention before I
finally bow out.
I do not know the identity of Big Steve........"<<
~ Laolu Akande May 18, 2001 , 2001 06:53 PM
Bababoyz was so relieved that he even forgave his enemies:
>>Big Steve,
No offence intended in my posting, and if there is any offence taken, I withdraw the offensive comment.<<
~bababoyz posted May 18, 2001 09:14 PM
And Laolu was becoming more than a conduit.....
>>Forumites, I choose to allow Prof. Aluko to send his views through me so as to enliven the debate since he seems to be very keenly interested and apparently has some useful infomation to offer. I would infact do so for anyone in his shoes.
I also know that perhaps in the very near future he may return to this messageboard in his own capacity as member.
Prof Aluko one more time:
Dear forum members:
I am compelled once more more respond. The business of building our
nation is too important to leave too many questions unanswered.<<

By the 23rd, Aluko has completed his escapology 101 and made a post

Found time to thank folks.......>>Lado17, COLO and Wale:
Thank you for welcoming me back.
Laolu:
I also thank you for being my gracious conduit in my absence.<<

And in fulfilment of his prediction, by his assessment and his judgment, journalist (not activist) Laolu son of Akande declared thus:
"U welcome Prof Aluko.
Now Prof Aluko is back and apparently everybody is happy 'bout that! Good and I can see a new vigor in the discourse already.
But hey!... he is not the economist!"
~Laolu Akande posted May 23, 2001 02:14 PM
Our "big" Steve was equally "chauffed" when he said:
>>You are welcome, Bolaji Aluko. Like the prodigal son story in the Bible, you've finally come back home. Make yourself comfortable.<<
~Big Steve posted May 23, 2001 03:03 PM
But our Aluko was already at home:
>>Big Steve:
To the extent that:
(1) I did not voluntarily leave NigeriaWorld forum;
(2) I did not squander NigeriaWorld forum's money when I was away;
(3) I did not beg to be accepted back into NigeriaWorld forum,
then your characterization of me as a "prodigal son" is inappropriate. If you meant it as an insult, I reject it.<<
~ Bolaji Aluko posted May 23, 2001 03:43 PM
But events have since proved Aluko wrong when he screamed at "Godly" Solid thus:
>>Solid:
So should I return the Board to “calmer rivers” by quitting the board?
No – I shall not. I am here to stay. Deal with it! :-)<<

Big-K,
I deliberately reproduced some of the transactions regardless of the fact that I'd provided the link for the reason we all know too well i.e, baby T's infamous "eraser"
