Mandy my Valentine,

The several months and oddsome days
Since you became my Valentine
Have been far too short
For me to properly show
The depth of my love for you
It would take
The several million years since
The act of loving began
To mark the million ways
My heart loved you then
And still yet millions more
To demonstrate how much
My heart loves you now

I'm so in love with you it scares me
Ever since I met you
It's like the sun has come out on my life
You walk into view
And I feel the earth move
You smile
And I go weak at the knees
You cry
And my heart breaks
I think of you
I get dizzy with longing knowing that
Your passion comes with fierce frenzy
That explodes into million starbursts

The only hope that's mine
Is that you'll forever be my Valentine!

My Eros!

When I saw you standing at my door last night
With two dozens of the most fragrant and exotic
Roses I ever saw I swooned with rhapsodic delight
I've never seen a more awesome and smashingly handsome male
Garbed in teal blazer, almond colored cashmere sweater
Flashing the most melting smile and eyes that screamed sensuous
I swear you are Cupid, Romeo and Scorpio wrapped in one
You must have noticed my trembling as I folded into your arms
And my unsteady hands barely holding on to the roses

Still high from last night's euphoria I barely got a shuteye
Atwist the English roses, mouth-watering French champagne
And Portuguese feast and romantic serenade for two
Somehow I lost my heart my cool, aye, my resolve
What man is this that speaks to me in speechless accent I understand?
You hear my words un-uttered my thoughts un-expressed and react
I believe in soul mate I believe in romance and I believe in love
Honey, you are the only part of me that has been incomplete till now
My Valentine, my Cupid, my Romeo, my Knight, you truly are

The beginning of another lifetime is chanced upon us
Two peas in a pod two hearts that beat as one, a destiny made
I can't even look into your eyes without getting lost and tongue-tied
Last night when you said to me "your silver lining is here"
That which is within me stirred with joyful acquiescence
I cannot explain it I don't even have a word for it
Those people at the restaurant last night gawking and drooling at us
They must have known what we know cause something just show
We are a pair meant for one another from another life to this lifetime

My Cupid, I'm speechlessly delighted we are Valentines
My heart beats for you

Mandy my honeysuckle, [Smile]

MY LOVE UNCHAINED

How did you sleep last night?
I peered thru the Cove
Ever avoiding Love
But now am undone
My barriers broken
For one has found me

Reached in and unbound me
Your love has burst my bonds
And set music to my songs
Your need for me is real
And mine for you with zeal
Has made my winter Spring

A new start
With hammering heart
We color the world with our dream
Nothing is as it did seem
The darkness of my solitude is done
Mandy - my rising sun [Smile]

EU,

ABOUT LAST NIGHT

Last night when we quit our marathon ICQing
I was wont to succumb to glorious slumber
The phone rang, your voice it was, my sleep begone
Entranced, the butterfly feel in the pit of my stomach
Your voice, the nature of it, warm and caressing
Each word a sensuous massage with hand-guided strokes
Like the gentle ripples of skillfully played guitar
Stimulated, teased, invigorated and beckoned
Solace I found not in your seductive baritone, "sweet dreams"
Made for my restless mind and run-away thoughts

SONG.--THE SMILE.

LET others love the pearly tear,
The blushing cheek adorning;
And say, 'tis like the dew-drop clear,
That gems the rose of morning.

Let others love to see the fair
With pensive mien appearing;
Be mine, to hail the sprightly air,
The dimpled smile endearing.

It speaks good-humour's mild control,
With magic fascination;
It tells the feelings of the soul,
With sportive animation.

Superior to the brightest eyes,
Or cheek with roses blooming;
A winning charm it still supplies,
The lovely face illuming.

'Twas Hebe taught fair beauty's queen,
The gay, bewitching wile;
And still her glowing lips are seen,
To wear a playful smile.

EU,

You know how much I love the strolls by the countryside.
Enjoy.

RURAL WALKS

OH ! may I ever pass my happy hours
In Cambrian rallies and romantic bow'rs;
For every spot in sylvan beauty drest,
And every landscape charms my youthful breast.
And much I love to hail the vernal morn,
When flowers of spring the mossy seat adorn:
And sometimes thro' the lonely wood I stray,
To cull the tender rosebuds in my way;

And seek in every wild secluded dell,
The weeping cowslip, and the azure bell;
With all the blossoms, fairer in the dew,
To form the gay festoon of varied hue.
And oft I seek the cultivated green,
The fertile meadow, and the village scene;
Where rosy children sport around the cot,
Or gather woodbine from the garden spot.
And there I wander by the cheerful rill,
That murmurs near the osiers and the mill;
To view the smiling peasants turn the hay,
And listen to their pleasing festive lay.
I love to loiter in the spreading grove,
Or in the mountain scenery to rove;
Where summits rise in awful grace around,
With hoary moss and tufted verdure crown'd;
Where cliffs in solemn majesty are pil'd,
" And frown upon the vale " with grandeur wild:
And there I view the mouldering tower sublime,
Array'd in all the blending shades of time.

The airy upland and the woodland green,
The valley, and romantic mountain scene;
The lowly hermitage, or fair domain,
The dell retir'd, or willow-shaded lane;
" And every spot in sylvan beauty drest,
And every landscape charms my youthful breast."

Mandy Babe, [Smile]

I just called to hear your sing-song voice
Wishing you a merry and cheerful Monday
Though those brutes at the anniversary thread
Kick and tug and pool at you pay no heed
Just think of me your frown will cease and joy is yours:)

Mind not them grumpy doggy dogs
How dare them tongue in cheeks pretend?
They twist and mangle your spelt out words
Spoiling for a fight I'll give them one
They'd go through me first, if they can:)

Love, I'm with you always
I love and miss you more than you know:)

Sugar Mandy,

This Ode is for You

THOU canst not fly me, dearest maid !
I haunt thee with the Evening's shade;
I see with thee "her golden glow
Fall on the silver lake below,"--
The trees that paint them in the stream
Another earth and sky to seem,--
The self-same shades that tinge thy sky
Make the full circle of my eye.

When Night her mantle casts around,
With golden stars the border's bound;
Or when her crescent crowns her brow,
And glitters all the woodland through
With quivering beam, that oft deceives,
While spreading foil on spangl'd leaves;
Till some dark cloud comes sailing by
And drinks the lustre of the sky,--
Pours from her horn the watery store,
And leaves and flowers are bright no more:

When Morn stands tiptoe on yon hill,
And then first prints the cottage sill
And views her, blushing to be seen,
As if from bathing she had been;
Her golden locks yet scarcely dry,
And the dropp'd dew half in her eye;
Her sandals wet as wet can be,
Her robe still dripping from the sea,
Her car just waiting for her hand
To drive the coursers over land,
And, for the heats of sultry day,
To chase the sullen clouds away,--
Ah! thinkst thou not I see thee still,
And ever did and ever will ?

Can absence tear thee from my sight ?
My eyes' full joy--my soul's delight !
No;--in the soft and silken bower
Where slumber binds the drowsy hour,
And sweetest dreams in visions sends
To be the wretch's fancied friends,
Think'st thou that any form but thine
Can meet this ardent gaze of mine ?
Or, when the blissful vision's o'er,
And I must grasp thy shade no more,--
When sorrowing drops my eyelids stain,
And wake me to my woes again;
Think'st thou fond memory will not bear
Thy image through the drowning tear ?
The mind's eye then shall take the place,
And wander o'er thy much lov'd face,--

EU, thou hast become my weakness!

Your call is yet a soothing balm
That tingles and lingers in my heart
My telepathy knight you are
My day is merry now, my love
I'll talk to you tonite for sure
Your voice the butterflies it brings
My achy feely heart it rouse
I need and miss you so, my love

********************************

OH thou ! the musing, wakeful pow'r,
That lov'st the silent, midnight hour,
Thy lonely vigils then to keep,
And banish far the angel, sleep,
With all his lovely train;
Come, pensive thought ! with thee I'll rove,
Through forest wild, sequestered grove,
Or twilight plain.

The lone recluse, in hermit-cell,
With thee, oh nymph! delights to dwell;
Forsakes the world, and all its charms,
Forsakes the syren pleasure's arms,
In peaceful shades to rest;
And oft with thee, entranc'd, may hear,
Celestial voices warbling near,
Of spirits blest !

When slow declines the rosy day
And ev'ning smiles with parting ray,
When twilight spreads her magic hues,
When moon-beams tremble on the dews,
Be mine to rove retir'd;
By fairy bower, or dimpled stream,
To muse with thee some heavenly theme,
Oh ! maid inspir'd !

'Tis thine on eagle-wings to soar,
Unknown, unfathom'd realms explore;
Below the deeps, above the sky,
Beyond the starry orbs on high;
"Can aught restrain thy flight ?"
To pierce the veil of future time,
And rise, in Fancy's car sublime,
To realms of light:

At midnight, to the guilty breast,
Thou com'st, a fear'd, appalling guest;
While lightnings flash and thunders roll,
Accusing conscience wakes the soul,
And bids each fear increase;
And, while benignant slumber flies,
With awful voice, in whisper cries,
Farewell to peace !

But oh, dread pow'r ! how sweet thy reign,
To Virtue's mild and hallow'd train !
The storm around may wildly rave,
And winter swell the mountain wave,
Yet soft their calm repose !
Their minds unruffled and serene,
And guardian-seraphs watch unseen,
Their eyes to close !

My Love,

This yearning in my heart
This confusion in my mind
The words left unspoken
Haunts me all the time

Everyday I watch pass by
With an emptiness in my life
And a hole in my heart
Where only you belong

There are nights I wake up crying
And wishing you were here
To hold me in your arms
And kiss away my tears

There is something that keeps me holding on -
What I'll never know
But one day things will go my way
And I'll have you all to myself

Sweetheart,

Much Ado About Nothing

I thought by now you feel secure
Thought I was thru calming your fears
It's only a game that tears you apart
Underlooking and overthinking

Tonite you're ready to fall apart in despair
Compromise and realize I won't let you down
It's only a party, I run away not
Don't let this be the reason for your sad heart

LOVE’S SECRET

Lovers soaking breeze in the woods
Gazing in the sky relishing the white clouds
The sunlight and the beckoning blue sky
Exchanging warm caress and lingering gaze
Counting their blessings deep in love

Flagged by the welcoming waves of the tree
They lay beneath it on their rainbow mat
Sounds of nature around them so soothing
Bees sucking the sweetest nectar from flowers
Reminds them of the symbiosis of their love

Lying beside him and stroking his chest
He recites to the sky the name of the one he loves
Drawing his gaze from the beautiful marigold
He pinned her with eyes the color of liquid gold
This will be the day she’ll remember his heart her conquest

As they lay around entwined in passion
They feel the glory of nature dreams they never know
They’ve come so much afar for this passion this freedom
They believe in their hearts its true love
Looking around them they know their love is true [Wink] [Smile]

Mandy,

*The Edge*

I was standing at the end of my rainbow
With no where to go and no pot of gold in sight
All my wishes were just way too much to hope for
But when I saw you I knew I’d seen the light

I used to think that love would never find me
And the one who cared was lost somewhere in time
But when you found me I knew I found forever
You rescued me just before I crossed the line

And not a moment too soon without a minute to spare
You touched my heart when I didn’t have a prayer
In my darkest hour with my world filled with gloom
Your sweet love saved me not a moment too soon

Mandy my Love

Too busy being in love

If I had taken the time to write down a few lines
Every time that you crossed this heart of mine
And put them all in a book, how much time ‘d it take
The words and months have a way of slipping by

I could have written a play so sweet and so funny
That would never leave a dry eye in the room
My only excuse for not doing enough
Is I was too busy being in love with you

Brand new phrases appear every time you are near
All these words you inspire after all these months
But I never reach for a pen, break the mood that I’m in
Before I know it the words are gone again

Oh I could’ve written more poems to make lovers go crazy
A beautiful song and it starts with your name, Amanda
But my only regret for not doing enough
Is that I was too busy being in love with you
